Floppy's Electric Picnic 2008 - Postscript

Fresh evidence has emerged about why I felt so strange - it wasn't the STUFF at all - it was this Director guy squeezing my head together - hey! Stop that!

These are mostly MY Irish Fan Club.

Floppy's Electric Picnic 2008 - Episode 4 - Dreams or Nightmares?

After all that excitement I was ready to have some FUN - hey - isn't that..... Elvis??????

Well I know who this is - we went to see MY Unthanks and I was right at the front- I had such a nice smile and a wave from Becky and Rachael and at the end they dedicated the last song to Mr Floppy - ME! WhoooooHoo!

We went to a top restaurant to celebrate but there was this - this - I can't speak for the HORROR of it....

It was too much for me....

When I came round it had started raining - Irish rain - lots of it. Now I don't do rain - I do have the GEAR - the best festival poncho and real wellies and all that - but it's cooler to stay dry, so off I went back to the Mobile Palace - only to find that the festival was on fire! The giant tower was in flames - there were bonfires everywhere and even logs stuck in the ground were on fire - FIRE!

Next thing I knew I was back in Dublin and this strange light.....

Was it all a dream...................

................ No! Because I have had a MySPace message from My Unthanks to say how nice it was to see me again - so I must have been there ........
.......................aaaaaaaaaaargh! What's that?

Floppy's Electric Picnic 2008 - Episode 3 - Take that!

Hello darlings! Do you like my boa? Actually I robbed it from Elton's wardrobe before I left after his last party - he'll be livid when he sees this!

Here's a chap with taste this is Chris rob pressing the wool.

... see he gave me his card.

Some people say The Picnic is really peaceful, but I seemed to find any trouble that might be going - these 4 made it clear I wasn't welcome and what they might do if I upset them....

Security came and sorted me out - thanks geezer.

10 minutes later and it all kicked off again - as reported here by a rather drunken paperazzi

I used some of my egg fu yong moves...

... which kept them at bay for a moment....

... but to no avail - ouch!

No matter - I was soon on the mend and back amongst my adoring fans - the price of fame.

Floppy's Electric Picnic 2008 - Episode 2

Fans, fans, fans - this is a sequence of chaos where I was rescued from a mob by this ASBO guy

We had to give him a chance to have a proper photo but these other guys just kept on jumping in....

Finally we made it to the stage to see top Irish superstars Kila - nice wallpaper! They were really fab, but they had there own problems with crowds too - some choir kept coming on and singing - I think they must have thought it was their turn and decided to go on anyway - then these (sssh! half naked chicks kept coming on and shaking their big feathers around.) Then - as if that wasn't enough this other chick, who must have been on the run from somewhere, ran on and tried to escape up a pair of red ribbon things to the top of the stage, but she kept falling off - fortunately she always managed to catch the ribbons and the crowd enjoyed it so much she must have decided not to run away on her own, but to join the circus instead....

Some bad news I'm afraid an old couple couldn't take the noise and .....

Floppy's Electric Picnic 2008 - Episode 1

Hi everybody! This year I invited 30000 of my best party friends (sorry if I missed you out - maybe next year) to a giant 3 day Electric Picnic in Ireland. We went over the sea in Floppy's Mobile (and now floating) Palace and we had a smashing time - until it poured with rain and half the site burnt down - AT THE SAME TIME! Read on.

First we went on a big cruise liner to MY favourite city - Dublin - It was an easy crossing but I found I had to spend a lot of time hanging over the side.... Just kidding I was just practising Assembling in case we needed to when the ship sank.

First job when we got there was to get the Mobile Palace tarted up:

Good job eh? Even got MY famous greeting Peace Love on it (they got it the wrong way around though - then they said it was left hand drive - huh?)

As usual the paparazzi were out in force, poking big lenses in my face.

Soon got rid of this one (just before I nearly hit him) when I pointed out my security dude coming to get him (that guy in the distance...)

After that I had STRONG WORDS with my minder bloke before carrying on into episode 2....
